KAIST signed a Memorandum Of Understanding(MOU) at March 31, 2021 with Korea Aerospace Industris. LTD. (KAI).
This agreement was pursued with the goal of R&D and commercialization related to space and future aircraft technology. And also focused on future food business, original and core technology. For this, "KAIST-KAI Aerospace Technology Research Center" will be established under ISCR, KAIST.
Kwang Hyung Lee, the President of KAIST, said, "Based on various future technologies possessed by KAIST, it will be able to contribute to the development of national science and technology as well as research on future space vehicles promoted by KAI."
