The Center for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence was established on December 19, 2019 under the Vice President of Research. The opening ceremony of the center was held in the KAIST IT Convergence Building, and President Seongcheol Shin, Director of the ISCR Hyochung Bang, and Head of the center Yong Man Ro (Professor in department of electrical engineering) attended. The Center for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence will be transferred under the ISCR in the future.
